Day 1: Chengdu - Leshan - Emei city

Today's Highlights:

Leshan; Grand Buddha; Mt. Emei

Details:

Drive to Leshan in the morning, enjoying countryside views of the west of Sichuan Plain on the way (two hours along expressway). After lunch, board a tour boat have a panoramic view of the biggest carved Buddha statue in the world. Drive on for half an hour to Emei mountain and visit Baoguosi temple---the largest temple at the foot of Mt. Emei. Overnight in Emai.

Day 2: Mt.Emei sightseeing, Back to Chengdu

Mt. Emei Sightseeing

Details:

Set off from the hotel in the morning by tour bus to the cable car station, where you will begin your ride to the the highest summit of Mt. Emei, the Golden summit. Have a look around the Golden summit including Huazang temple. After lunch, Take the cable car down and take the bus to Wanniansi parking lot which is located halfway up Mt. Emei. Take another cable car to visit Wanniansi temple. Return to Chengdu.

Tips:

1. The highest summit of Mt. Emei- the Golden Summit is at 3,000 meters above the sea level. For those who suffered from high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, and heart disease, do not climb so high. 2. It is cold at the Golden Summit, even in summer. Warm clothes is necessary if you will up there. 3. In Mt. Emei, there are lots of wild naughty monkeys. Don't displease them, and don't wear the glaring clothes.
