Details:

First we drive to Chengdu Panda Research Base in the morning.

The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is located in the northern suburb of Chengdu on Futou Hill. It is 10 km from downtown Chengdu, and can be reached by the Panda Road. Giant pandas at the Chengdu Research Base live in large naturalistic habitats, which help the visitor to understand how these animals live in the wild.

After lunch, we drive 40km to visit Sanxindui Museum.

In Sanxing Dui which is 40 kilometers south of Chengdu.The exposure of a large number of spectacular relics created a great sensation, making the Sanxing Dui site well known to the world. Amongst the hoards of prize antiquities there are a variety of unique, grotesque bronze works, such as the stately standing figure, the freakish bronze mask and the towering bronze holy tree, which stand out as treasures unparalleled. After visiting, we will drive back to Chengdu. As an option in the evening, enjoy a wonderful variety show of "Face changing" and "Flame Spitting Out" of Sichuan Opera.

Tips:

1. Please take care of your cash when you are in the train station or other crowd places. 2. Taking taxi is convenient in Chengdu. It is not a very big city, usually 20-30 yuan (RMB) is enough. From downtown to airport is usually around 50 yuan. 3. Chengdu is quite famous for its 'Sichuan Cuisine', but it is spicy. Don't forget to enjoy the local food when you are in Chengdu.
