What does private tour mean?
Private tour means that you will have a tailor-made tour itinerary, a private car, driver and a tour guide. During the tour, there will be no other tourists sharing anything with you, but only your family members, or friends if you have them with you.
None of our tours have fixed departure dates. The departure time is up to you. You have choices to make this tour be customized as a Private Tour for your own party of 1, 2 or more people, whoever you know. To be in this private tour, you will enjoy much freedom and flexibility.
How can I work out a tour itinerary?
You can choose the pre-made Tibet tour itinerary from our website and send your special requirement to us. We will have our travel advisor help you with the further discussion to customize the tour chose. You can also have your own itinerary but need to consult our advisor to see whether it is feasible and doable. What’s the price of your tour provided?
Tour cost varies because tour itinerary might be different, and also many other aspects might affect the tour cost, like travel time, hotel standard, etc.

Do you offer any other tours, like trekking, hiking, rafting, horseback riding, etc.?
Yes, we do provide all the above special tours, and the mixture of different kinds. We offer the trekking tour, long time adventure tour, hiking during the sightseeing tour, and even rafting.
What methods of payment do you accept?
Travel West China provides various ways of payment for the convenience of our clients.
- PayPal (With or Without PayPal Account)
- Western Union Transfer
- Wire Transfer (Regular Bank Transfer)
Detailed payment guide will also be sent to you through email by your personal travel advisor.
What is your payment policy?
Booking made 60 days prior to departure, 30% of the total tour cost plus the airfare and train fare is required, and the balance should be paid 15 days prior to departure.
Booking made 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the total tour cost plus the airfare and train fare is required, and the balance should be paid 15 days prior to departure.
Booking made 15 days or less prior to departure, a full payment is required.
What is your cancellation policy?
Should you need to cancel your tour or any portion thereof, your cancellation must be received in writing. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as of the cancellation date which will be effective on the date of receipt by Travel West China.
- More than 30 days prior to departure:
- $50 per person
- 30 to 21 days prior to departure:
- 150 per person
- 20 to 11 days prior to departure:
- 30% of the tour price
- 10 to 5 days prior to departure:
- 50% of the tour price
- 5 to 0 days prior to departure or NO-SHOW travelers:
- 100% of the tour price
We are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours once the trip commences.
How can I do a wire transfer as you require?
It’s very easy and safe to pay us by wire transfer. Please follow these steps.

Please be noticed that this option is not available if departure date for travel is within 20 days as it may take 5 days to 3 weeks for the wired payment to reach us.
What is Western Union? How to pay by Western Union Transfer?
Western Union is the fastest way to pay. We can get your money in a few minutes after you send the money. So it is an ideal way to book the tours with us. You can choose Western Union Transfer if there is Western Union Service in the area where you live.
After you send us the money, please tell us the full name of the remitter, sum of money, details of your address, and Money Transfer Control Number provided by Western Union.

How to pay by PayPal? Is there any difference to pay with or without PayPal account?
PayPal is the safest and easiest way to pay online without exposing your credit card or bank account number. Whatever if you have or have not a PayPal account, you may pay us securely with PayPal which is now used by over 72,000,000 account users.
After you have confirmed a certain amount of payment for the travel service you are going to book from Travel West China, your personal travel advisor at Travel West China will send you a PayPal payment link via email. By following that payment link, you will be transferred to PayPal’s official secure online payment website.
If you have a PayPal account, all you need to do is to login to your PayPal account and click the “pay” button. Not necessary to provide credit card information.
If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still pay us at PayPal’s official website by providing your credit card information. PayPal accepts all the major credit card and debit card such as Visa, Master, AE, Diners, JCB etc.
