Tsering spoke good English and has knowledgeable about Tibetan culture, religion and history. He was also very good with our children and flexible with our needs. Very good company.

The driver provided us with good reliable service-good driving skills on highways and rough roads. On time and pleasant personality. 

Hotels in Kunming and Lhasa were very good. Buth the Taixing Hotel in Shigatse was poor-see comments below. Tents at Everest Base Camp was fine.

Breakfasts were ok except at Taixing, but I think that the people in Lhasa Tlaw Tsu Garden Hotel need to be instructed on what westerns like.

We, the family have a number of favorites: Gyantse Monastery, Everest Base Camp, Potala, Jokhang and Ganden. Kids got a bit bored with all the monasteries at time, but my wife and I liked all the sites.

Tibet was an amazing place to visit! The tour in Tibet was fantastic-We had a good driver and knowledgeable guide. And the site in Tibet was spectacular.

The only negative aspect was the hotel in Shigatse-Taixing. The place was badly maintained, not very clean and with poor service. Half the lights worked, TV was not working, A/C were only turned on after 9 pm after we insisted. Recommend that you do NOT use this hotel again. However, the trip was excellent as a whole.
