Itinerary: 7 Days Overland Tour from Lhasa to Kathmandu via Tibet Train from Chengdu to Lhasa

Dear Travel West China,

Our travel advisor Fiona was Fantastic. She did a lot of hard work. We really appreciate all the effort and patience she put in.

Sangpu-our tour guide was very knowledgeable. Around sites in Lhasa-we learned a lot! Concerned with making sure we were feeling well-we appreciated his concern. His English skills were excellent also. 

The driver did very well on some extremely difficult roads. Smiling, friendly and helpful. His car is clean and is good condition. Driver and car on first day of airport pickup were also very good.

Hotel in Shigatse was fantastic. Hotel in Lhasa and border was average. Overall food provided by the hotel was served well. But breakfast in Lhasa is not good. Breakfast in Shigatse is very good, and Everest Base Camp excellent.

All the sightseeing were very good especially the Everest and debating monks in Sera Monastery.

Apparently the backpackers in Lhasa was quite good. Maybe on option for younger people. We are crossing the border tomorrow, and have no way of telling the driver know on the Nepal side what time we'll cross-a phone no. would be handly.

The road from EBC to the border is terrible!!! Possibly a warning to future tour groups what to expect so they can make the decision to drive back to Lhasa.

Our driver did an excellent job of a very bad road though!
