Overview
Founded in 1985, Shigatse hotel is the only luxury three star hotel in Shigatse. It is located in the far south of the town. The Tashilumpo Monastery is about 1 km away and the Bank of China is almost next door.
The Shigatse Hotel has been recently renovated and the hotel provides 123 guest rooms including single rooms, double rooms and a suite. Rooms are decorated in Chinese and Tibetan style, fully equipped and with attached bathroom. Hot water is provided 24 hours and there is heating during winter.
There are restaurants provide Tibetan, Chinese and Western food. Business Center, Sauna, Meeting Room, Fitness Center are also provided.
